OS X 10.2.2 causes black cursor in X11

Just upgraded OS X to 10.2.2

Now the X11 (4.2.0) cursor is solid black with no outline, causing all sorts of visual placement problems. All cursors are solid black (looking stubby and not well defined).

Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be appreciated as this degrades the interface significantly.

You might have to upgrade to the latest X11 point release. I had done it before upgrading to 10.2.2 and have noticed no problems whatsoever.

On the Fink site they recommend doing that for 10.2.2 as well.
