OS X address book and vfc-files

Sometimes I get those vfc (virtual contact card, I just don't remember the word in english) attached to an email mostly from PC-users. The files have the address-book icon, and when I click them (in Mail.app), the address book opens, but nothing more happens. Is it possible to use these files somehow? I mean importing the info into addressbook? Or make one of myself?

nothing happens when you double click them? it's been a while since i've used Mail, but from what i remember, they'd come up as contacts in addy book, and i could just save them. thats also what happens in entourage. if it's not working, i don't know what to tell you, but mail should definitely be able to read them

no, defnitly not working. I tried importing from the address book manually, and i just got like 6 "???" entries. when I open the vcf with textedit I can see the data, formatted in a way. But address book app can't read them. It recognizes them in mail, since adress book starts up when clicking.
strange.
