I have used smart cards on Solaris with Sun Rays, and I loved it. It was simple, effective, and efficent. I am looking to use a similar system on my network at home.
Does anybody know/have a low cost (i.e. free) solution?
I fired up cac (Common Access Card) support on my PB, and was greeted with a neat surpise, I dont have a card reader, so when I rebooted my machine, and went to enter my username/password, and was greeted with a banner talking about "This machine is a part of the Department of Defense ...."
Kinda neat, but I was looking for something a little different.
