I have the following system configuration:
G3 desktop(beige), XLR8 G4 500mhz upgrade, Sonnet ATA 66 card with one hard drive(10gb) attached. The original hard drive is connected to the internal ata slot.
I have installed OSX on the internally connected hard drive(4gb).
I can not get OSX to boot up. I have even tried removing the accelerator card to revert to the old system configuration. I have installed the OSX software twice, once after reformating the drive. Why am I having this problem? At one point I got a blank grey screen with the words "can't open" repeated across the top of the screen.
Any ideas would be helpful
