i was wanting to take some of the OS X Leo Icons and backgrounds and transfer and use them on my Linux computers. Where are these image and icon image files found? also FrostWire 4.21.8 wont work on Leo it is saying java 1.6 is needed but the highest Software Update installs is Java 1.5 is there a java 1.6 for Leo? obviously if frostwire works and is asking for it it must exist otherwise frostwire would work on java 1.5

No Java 1.6 on PPC, so no Frostwire that requires that newer version of Java.
From what I can find, Frostwire 4.21.1 is the last version that will work on a PPC Mac.
You can download that version here:
http://mac.oldapps.com/frostwire.php?old_frostwire=10

Or, other torrent apps (if you must download torrents) -
uTorrent, or Vuze.
Transmission should be OK, but you would also need to find an older version that will still support a PPC Mac.

Desktop images are stored in the main Library/Desktop Pictures folder.

I can't tell you exactly how to find all the system icons, as some are stored with individual apps, and others are part of the system itself. Someone else may offer better suggestions for that.
That being said - there's a variety of sites that have enormous collections of icons - many are free, some are commercial collections.
One site I like is http://iconfactory.com/freeware , which has a large amount of both free icons, and free desktop pictures and other designs.
