OS X on 8600 or sumthin..

Okay, does anyone know if the beta will install on a machine without G3 at all? DP4 would install on my 8600 (604e 200), so why wouldn't the beta?

Well, I don't really care, everything is already so slow. Especially IE. And I hate when the apps hang up the whole puter fer several minutes, so I was hoping I could get rid of that..

I've got a 9600 with tons of RAM and UW drives and an XLR8 300mhz G3. Will OSX beta install? I thought Apple was only going to make it compatible with G3's and G4's from the factory.
