Hi,
i tried installing OSX on on unsupported machine (Umax Pulsar S900). First i failed selecting a boot disk in the system disk control panel. at http://www.xlr8yourmac.com i found a hack via resedit that made system disk believe, my Umax Pulsar is a 8500. After applying the patch, my machine booted from the CD, but i got a kernel panic when the installer is launched. I thought it is cause of my MP850 graphics card, so i replaced it with the stock TwinTurbo card, but i got no video signal at all. The machine booted, i heared the CD Drive loading, but i got a blank screen.
