OSX 10.2.4 Password Recovery?

I recently bought an iBook from ebay... but i cannot install any programs because it requires my admin password... i was not givin the OS CD.

If anybody can help it would be great and thanks in advance


P.S. I have no idea about macs...
 
You will have to buy a retail copy of 10.2 or above. No other way. You need the disc to reset the password.
 
Find an OEM OS CD/DVD boot from the disk by holdind down the c key. Go under the password reset utility and you will be able to set yourself a new password. I also would suggest upgrading to the highest version of OS X as you can based upon what iBook you have.
