OSX and MAC 9600/350

Ok, now that this is in the right thread... ;)
I believe, unless you like doing hacking, that OS X requires a G3 processor to run. So unless you have updated the computer, I doubt you will get it to work.
 
Download XPostFacto. Do search on versiontracker.com for it. That will help you install X on older model Macs
 
Note that 10.2 requires a G3, so you'll have to upgrade the processor or you'll only be able to run 10.0.x and 10.1.x versions. OS X is actually pretty usable on a G3 upgraded PowerSurge Mac :)
