Osx CD Burning issue

Hi Guys

I have an annoying problem in OSX with regards to burning cds. Im fully updated to 10.3.8 and the problem only started after that upgrade.

Im a toast user normally and have never once had a problem but now when i put a blank cdr in something in finder (not i tunes) trys to take over and asks me if i want to burn a cd. A round icon pops up and mounts the cdr (black and yellow circle) and to get rid of it and use toast i have to 'eject disc'.

If i dont and persist in burning with toast, an error message pops up saying burning failed (although toast has burnt the cd fine in the meantime) and then even when i eject i still have to eject again to get rid of the mounted disc.

Its not a major problem as it isnt stopping me doing anything but its something i want to sort out.

If anyone can help go for it and it would be much appreciated!

Cheers
Tom

Doh silly me!

Right guys, only 5 mins after posting this i worked it out for myself so i will post the cure so anyone should need it themselves (mods feel free to delete this if you think it is of no use)

As you would imagine (but i totally overlooked) if you go to 'System preferences' there is 'cds/dvds' preferences in the 'Hardware' section.

Quite simply you just look in there and from the drop down menus select 'Ignore' as the option to 'When you insert a blank cd:'

Im feeling the start of 'one of those days'
