OSX newsreader that filters read messages?

I'm using MT Newswatcher that filters read messages well (messages that have been crossposted to mulitple newsgroups) but it is so slow because it doesn't have a Preview Pane like most newsreaders. Isn't there anything for OSX that can do this with a Preview Pane like Unison? LIke with the Message list on top and the Message body below? I tried Thoth but it looked like it was an extension of MT Newswatcher or did I make an error?

Surely someone can suggest one that:
1: filters read messages so I don't have to read the same message 5 times in 5 groups?
2: has a Preview Pane like any normal newsreader for speed and efficiency.

MT with a preview pane?
Unison with a crossposting filter?
