I have installed the PB on my Powerbook G3 400 and the install completes successfully, but when I get to the login the performance of the powerbook drops to complete crawl. Launching IE 5 takes 90 seconds or more. I checked for process hogs, but none are shown. It is almost as if the OS is crashing, or trying not to crash. My laptop is running version 2.7f3 of the ROM with 192 meg of RAM and a 20 gig HD. I hate to say this but the performance hit is similar to situations I have seen under NT when a hardware conflict is taking place. I do have the Airport card installed, any possibility there? Has anyone else seen this?
