OSX printer shiz

I just need to know if anyone has one of these belkin parallel to usb adapters, [the bondi blue one] I need to know if there is ANY way to get this thing to work in OSX, it keeps telling me that my printer is unsupported, is there any way to emulate, or fake a generic laser for this thing in OSX?
 
I've got a Belkin serial-to-usb adapter for my Palm, and it won't work in X. I wish these scrubs would release some drivers already...
 
I have a thread dealing with a LaserJet 1100. There are some good tips in there, but I also have some stumpers. Anyway, the thread is right here.
