I have a new Quad G5 running OSX. I tried to start it up this morning and all I get is a spotlight in the upper right corner of the screen??????? Help! Is there any options better than a format?
One idea would be to boot from your OSX CD/DVD and not reinstall your os but use the Disk Utility to repair your disk permissions. Hope that will help you out.
