osx won't load on g4 tower

I cannot load osx onto this g4 tower. I have reset the firmware can't tell if I need to upload firmware and if so which one and I upgraded to 9.2.2. I am wondering whether I am not allowed to do this from a 10.4 imac g5 operating system or a toast burnt 10.2? Also can I use an nt256d64s88aag-7k 256 mb ddr-266mhz -cl2 pc2100u-20330 nanya ram chip on either an imac g5 or g4 tower they have ddr memory but with different # on it.
 
first of all, the g5 os x 10.4 will not load on the g4, g5 is 64bit, and g4 is 32bit. as far as 10.2, could be a bad burn. as far as the ram, which g4 and imac g5 do you have? the ram you have is pc2100. check apple to see if either of the macs support pc2100 ram.
