Out of Office


Is there any way to set up an 'Out of Office reply' using a Mac 10.4 server as the mail server and all Mac clients?

Microsoft (Exchange server) seem to have it working perfectly where the client PC can set an Out of Office reply that automatically switches off at the desired date.

Surely Mail.app / iCal with 10.4.2 server can do this-!!
Yes you should be able to do this with vacation. See man vacation in terminal. It should be mentioned that using vacation is proberly to complicated for the average user. There is no auto reply with GUI in Mac OS X Server :-(
There should be different solution to this problem, but they require installing additional open source software.
