Outlook Express 5.0.2 Doesn't Open

I saved outlook express (v. 5 or 5.0.2) on the flash memory disk and then on CD-R from Power Book G3 (OS 9.2.2).
Then I wanted to open it on my new iBook G4 (OS 10.4.2). I had installed OS classic. However, this outlook doesn't open although outlook, which is installed in OS classic, opens without any trouble. What is the problem here? Can anyone help? Otherwise I might have lost all my email data including email address list and email messages...
 
Outlook Express is part of the default installation of Classic. It opens fine here, but wants Office 98. Outlook on the Mac is a completely different application. Nothing in your post gives a clue as to the cause of your troubles with Outlook Express. Quite frankly, I have no idea why you are worrying about this dead, badly-written Classic application. MacOS X Mail can import your Outlook Express messages.
