Overclocking a Powerbook?

I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my 17" Powerbook's CPU through this outfit: http://daystartechnology.com/Apple_...ducts/Mac_CPU_G4_Upgrade_PowerBook_AL_PS.html
It costs $400 and increases the processor speed to 1.83GHz.
Any opinions, experiences, caveats?

From what I've read, it causes problems, it will lower your battery life, and it's too expensive. Even if you do pay the $400 to upgrade, you're still light years behind the intel macs. I would just save up for a MacBook, or MacBook Pro.

I, too, would say it's too much money invested for the gain. If you have 400 USD (or more) now, I'd simply wait until you can buy a good replacement. Of course a 13" MacBook would - screenwise - be a serious downgrade. On the other hand it'd be a mobile computer.

Well OK, then, I guess I'm effectively dissuaded from that idea.......too many negative points "muddying the water".
