Just wondering if anybody has bought and is willing to give feedback on Painter IX. The price is a bit steep, but pixel-pushing is a big part of my life...I want to make sure the investment is worthwhile...
I've always liked Painter's interface and tools, but the last few versions seem to have real lag issues, especially with 'loaded' particle-effect brushes (especially oil paint and watercolor). I'm also looking for a better ability to share file elements between Painter and Photoshop CS- alpha channels, layer sets, adjustment layers, paths, etc...and I would really love it if I could 'port all of my custom brushes from CS to Painter somehow.
