Disconnect anything attached to the machine other than keyboard and mouse.

See if you get the Kernel.

Remove all Ram that didn't come with the machine and see if the Kernel comes.

Your logs don't indicate that anything software related is causing this.

My guess, bad ram or hard other hardware.

Go through This Troubleshooting Page

Bob,
Thank you for your reply. I did not pull the ram as its all been in there for a year working fine. Do you think perhaps the 10.3.5 update rendered the ram unusable? All other hardware has been disconnected already.
Thank You
SG

I would pull the ram regardless of how long it's been in. An update could have cause a bad ram problem.

Uggggh,
So I guess one hefty book would not do huh? :)
Well I surely appreciate those who DID do the work sharing that knowledge. Thank You, Truly....
Is this (interpreting logs) something that would (at least) start to make sense after a few months of study? or is this reserved for seasoned pros with years in the game?
OS 9 allowed me to Believe I knew something about computing.....
Bravo OS X.
Thanks
S-G

I suppose if you were to get hold of Unix/Kernel programming info and started studying, you would gain some knowledge on what the logs mean.
