Panther and C80

I just installed Panther and installed the latest Epson driver. Epons says on their website that Printer Driver v1.3aD is for Macintosh OS X (v10.1.3 - 10.2.1).

I printed out a page and it seems to work OK. Any comments?
 
If you had tried your printer before installing other drivers, you would have found the printer working already. Panther comes with native drivers for the C80, and you have installed an older version. (Panther version not available as a download, as it is supplied with Panther) But if you can still print OK, with the features that you need, then OK...!
 
To be on the safe side, I would prefer to install the "native" version and remove the "older" version. Should I stick in the installation disk and install the print drivers? Then throw away the drivers I don't need?
 
I would say the panther drivers are probably newer, if the epson ones say v10.1.3 - 10.2.1.

I'd stick with the panther ones, if it works fine I wouldn't worry about it.
