Panther Font Book discrepancy

Professional typography
Some fonts support advanced typographical controls. For example, select Zapfino in the Font panel and choose Typography from the Action pop-up menu (at the bottom of the panel). The Typography pane gives you control over many typographic features of the font.

??? I can't find an action pop up menu anywhere in font book. Where are these additional controls???

Umm. It says Font Panel. Not Font Book.

i.e. - In TextEdit, under the Format menu, select Fonts --> Show Fonts. The Font Panel will open.
