Panther on a 266 iMac?

Has anyone installed Panther on a 266Mhz iMac yet? If so, how is the speed and how well does it run? I was hoping to get other users feedback before jumping into 10.3. I currently have 10.2.6 installed and it runs slow but useable.

It runs faster than 10.2.x does. I have it installed on my other machine (266 Bondi) and all the features work fine, albeit a little sluggish - expose even does its job well. I'd say theres no reason not to upgrade, because the install was smooth, and the after result was great!

Yea, go with X-ite. Install it if you can, it'll be a good experience.
