Hi All.
I have a panther server fully patched with a fresh install not long ago.
I am running a site called MODx that I would like to implement on this server.
However, the standard MySQL that comes with 10.3.9 is below the minimum requirements for MODx which requires MySQL 4.1.
I upgraded MySQL successfully with the package install on the MySQL website, and installed the GUI tools and have been able to create the database I need.
However it seems as if the PHP links between MySQL and PHP are now broken, because when I attempt to install my site, no matter what settigns I provide, it never seems to connect.
Apache and PHP are still default at the moment.
The other websites configured on this machine is the Filemaker Instant Web Publishing engine, and a Static Intranet I am hoping to replace with MODx.
Any Ideas on how to resolve this?
Edit:
BTW - Can this be moved to servers by staff as I didn't see that section prior to posting.
