In today's world, the technology of now is always being surpassed by the technology of the future. Bigger, better, faster upgrades pop up like flies on a dead body, and people have a hard time keeping up and maintaining a steady balance in their checking accounts at the same time. I don't see the updates to OS X as any different; it's better to have change for the better, even if it feels rushed (which I don't think it does), than to have little to no change at all.
