Paris Cancellation - there's always MacExpo 2001 ?

To all those people who were going to attend the Apple-Expo in Paris (like me), we can all understand the reasons behind cancelling such a major, high profile event in light of the terrible events of the past week and the possible future reprocussions.

The only other major Mac-only event this year in Europe is Macfest 2001 in London in November (free tickets still available). Apple has already confirmed attendance and have reserved the biggest stand. Check it out at:-

This is the first time in at least 3 years that apple has attended a major event in the UK. Here's hoping that it will be all that we can hope for in an Apple-attending event.

According to that site, Manchester and London shows happened in March and the Birmingham/Leeds ones happened in September. There's nothing about another on in London in November!

It called the MacExpo, not macfest. The actual address is:-

http://www.macexpo.co.uk/

The macfest events are very small in comparison, my confusion. They've just freed up 3000 more free tickets for the event as they'd given away the other 3000.
