Paris expo continues until the 20th... right?
Well, I can see the future, and the future is:
New iBooks... with the G4/G3 1.1 GHz. G3 most likely.
GM or final version of panther, all ready and will be avalible... soon.
New PowerBook G6's. Apple wants j00r munnys! lol... still recovering from the new 12 incher...
Panther Server (maybe)
If no panther maybe Mac OS X 10.2.8.
a Special Edition iPod
Maybe dump the G4 Towers (VERY unlikely...)
So my ideas so good or no good?

next week (or soon after) they will announce the ibook stuff

they did that at MWSF. a week later they upgraded the powermacs.
 
If that was true, I'd be happier than a fruitcake... I've decided to go with an iBook and route the cost difference into some quality glass for my D-SLR and I'd love to be able to buy into forward-technology...
 
The iBook probably won't surpass the 12" PB in speed so fast. 1 GHz G3, probably.
 
weird they're still releasing G3 products. Steve Jobs has confirmed that the G3 isn't fast enough for Mac OS X to get a descent result of speed (he didn't say that it sucks or something..), i read it somewhere.. It was in a newspaper, but i don't remember which one..
 
In something like Windows World maybe?

I'm on a G3 right now. And not complaining..
 
I use a G3/500 with Jag 10.2.6 everyday, it's alright, unless you try to run all your apps at the same time.
