partition my external drive for use with MAC & PC

I have purchased a 1TB My Book Studio WD Drive and have transferred my 600GB of stuff onto it and sold my old drive.

I am now looking to create a NTFS or FAT32 partition on the drive for use with Windows computers.

I have tried creating a FAT32 partition using Disk Utility however this partition will not mount on my Windows computer.

Please help!

I do not know. If I look in disk utility the only thing I see in slight relation to this is.
