Partitioning a partition

I currently have two partitions on my HD; is it possible to split one of them in two without erasing the other?

Theoretically yes, using pdisk, but since you shouldn't do it without backing up anyway, it's kind of pointless

Theres a bit of software that can do this for you (repartition without losing any data):

I havn't used it myself (my mac is in the mail) but folks over on the macadict boards say it works just fine
