partitioning drive

no, generally or changing partitions requires a re-format, but there may be a third party utility that allows it. Anybody?
 
I know FWB partition toolkit (shareware) can make a partition smaller without touching the files, but it can't make it bigger (initializes it when it makes the partition bigger)
 
doesnt look like FWB partition toolkit is available as shareware anymore.. least i cannot find it .. i might just have to backup data and partition :)
not too bad.. its a pleasure installing mac os's :)
 
I relocated this thread to the Hardware forum because it is about hard drive partitioning.

Remember, you can make partitions smaller, w/o initialising, but you can't make them bigger.(w/o initialising)
