When a MacBook Pro running OS X Mountain Lion boots and starts the GUI where does it read PATH?
I have installed QGIS software and a Plugin with the whole lot run from the GUI environment. When I try to use the installed plugin I get an error message that says it cant find the plugins executable. I know the plugin executable is there as I can find it and define its path.
If I open a terminal session and add the new PATH to /etc/paths and quit then open QGIS as normal in the GUI the plugin still doesn't find its executable. I can run the executable from a Terminal command line.
So what do I have to do to get the plugin to run as it should from the Macs GUI?
