OK, I'm very confused about what to do. I have a pbg4 400/384/10gb. i have sent it in for repair 4 times now, and im gonna have to send it again. I asked for a new replacement computer, and they are considering it. Im wondering if i can get them to change their minds if they say no, or any suggestions on compromises. :confused: Also, this is hypothetical, if they offer me a new 400 with the same spex or a refurbished 550 with similar spex, what would u do? if they say we'll give you a refurbished one, should i take it or just get mine repaired again? thanks a bunch!

Personally,
I would take the referb as long as you get the full 1 year warranty.
Referbs are often just as good as new.
 
Basically- they are within their rights to do so.
You don't have much choice, short of using a Mac User Group to put an impression for you.
You could contact a trading standards person, or an industry watchdog.

I dunno... They told me that i have only sent my computer in twice, but i sent it in 3 times!!! its complete bull! Now what?
