PC vs PC ?

Why does every one refer to an IBM clone as a pc? A Mac is also a pc (Personal Computer). When people say pc's suck that also includes the mac computers. Am I wrong?

No, you are correct. Both are personal computers. Somewere along the way PC just became synonamous with IBM/PC.

Not really. The IBM PC was the first microcomputer to be called a PC.
