I don't know a heck of a lot about PCI Cards and Slots. But I have a Digi001 device (Pro Tools 6.7 I believe) and it connects through a PCI card.

I have a One year old Titanium Powerbook G4.

There MUST be some kind of hub or something that can take a PCI device and make it plug in to Firewire or .. hopefully not, USB.

I know it's a long shot, but what the hell.

Thanks friends.

What you need is what's called a PCI-breakout box.... This is such a device...

A PCcard is inserted in the side slot in your powerbook, and a cable connects it to the PCI breakout box where you install the PCI card...

However, there's nothing on the page that says whether it is Mac OS X compatible or not, and they're showing an old powerbook on the page... hmm..
