Just got an 8500 with a g4 card. Pretty nice machine with the video in/out, rca audio, etc.
It has pci usb card in there - anyone using the usb drives? What's the general opinion on usb hard drives? good - bad??
I have an ATI rage 128 video card for a pc, but I heard somewhere that it's possible to flash it on a pc to work with mac?? Anyone have any experience here??? This would be an awesome upgrade since the mac came with a 21" old school display.
I also have a 10/100 pci ethernet card from linksys for pc, and wondered if I could use that and have 2 enet cards?? Maybe set up a router or firewall or something. At any rate, the 100mbs will be better than 10 for file sharing, etc.
