I bought PS 8.0 bundle a loooonnng time ago and just recently started using it (have cs4 on the pc)
Problem with the PS on my mac is that it has a completely transparent work area. Its devoid of ps, period. I can see my entire desktop. When I click outside my canvas, I am clicking the desktop... so annoying. I've looked in all my menu, went into the help files, gone to other forums and asked for help but no one has an answer nor do they list is as a problem.
I want that nice gray shaded work area, so if I happen to click off the side of my canvas, I am still inside PS. As it stand, if I do that, my PS collapses as if I minimized it. HATE that. *arrrggh!!!*
