photoshop cs crashes

I have a client using a G4 867MHz dual (mirrored drives), 1 GB RAM, OS X 10.4.5.

I installed Adobe's CS 2 Suite without problems, but Photoshop crashes on startup.
Steps taken so far:
recreated preferences
replaced .sif file in package contents
reinstalled application
clean install (trashed all related photoshop files and folders)
clean install using a different user
disabled all fonts using Suitcase (only 5 necessary system fonts active)

All the above steps failed to launch Photoshop. Most recent crash log is attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's a few references to "Unicode" and "font" in that crash log -- are there any non-sytem fonts installed on that machine? It could be a corrupt font preventing PhotoShop from opening...

...also, what kind of font management are you using on that machine? Perhaps some "auto-activation" extension is preventing PhotoShop from launching.
