Hi There,
If you all still have problems with Photoshop CS2 not being able to open any file by double clicking or draging it to PSC2, I have found a an easy solution...it works everytime.
1. Create a New User Account, login and launch photoshop.
Once Photoshop is open you can open any file again, change prefrences, etc...
2. Close Photoshop and copy all Photoshop prefrences under your New User Account;
Users/Newuser/Library/Preferences/(Adobe Photoshop CS2 Paths, Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings, com.adobe.Photoshop.plist and com.apple.Preview.plist)
3. Paste all Photoshop preferences from the New User Account to the Original User Account;
Users/Originaluser/Library/Preferences/(Adobe Photoshop CS2 Paths, Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings, com.adobe.Photoshop.plist and com.apple.Preview.plist)
*Newuser & OriginalUser are just for reference, your user names might/will be different.
Once you've copy all Photoshop prefrences, go back to your Original User Account. Restart your computer, launch Photoshop and you are ready to go...
In the pasts years I've had this problem 3 times.
The first time I re-install/archive 10.3.9 and then re-installed Photoshop.
The last 2 times I fixed this problem by copying the files from the new user account to my current user account.
I Hope this works for everyone as it has been working for me.
