Photoshop CS3 quits when trying to save tif files OSX10.4.11

I just installed Adobe creative suite on a dualprocessor intel MAC OSX 10.4.11

I have been using Photoshop CS2 with no problems. I recently installed CS3 and it quits everytime I try to save a Tif file.

I tried FixVCUIFramework it did not make a difference, the program still quits when trying to save a tif.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you fully uninstall PS CS2? Do you have any demo versions of CS3 or CS2 on your comp? Adobe's software is getting really strange with its own leftover files.

Have you repaired permissions and deleted your PS plist and pref files yet? Search for "photoshop" to find these files. Remember their locations in case something happens and you need to put them back.
