Photoshop guides mismatch in Panther

I've run into a strange problem, and I wonder if anyone else has spotted this: After using guides to aid my retouching on a Photoshop file that I open in PS 7, I save the file out with the guides suppressed. If someone opens the file in Photoshop CS, the guides are automatically activated...what's worse, the file errors out when I try to proof it via a Brisque. It's interpreting the guide line as vector data.

Howdy.

I would say to just delete the guides when viewing your layered photoshop file in another program. Not too helpful, but that's what I would do.

You can't really "suppress" the guides as much as you simply hide them from view.
