photosmart c4200 printing blank pages

I have an HP Photosmart C4200 connected to my iMac PowerPC G5. When I go to print, I get multiple blank pages that never stop. It just takes all my paper and runs it through the printer. At first, I thought it was the pdf I was trying to print because I get this code on the first page:

%RBINumCopies: 1
%%Pages: (atend)
%APL_DSC_Encoding: UTF8
%%Title: (b

but it prints that way even from Word. I've reloaded the driver, but it still won't work.

What do I need to do?

1.delete the printer driver from library/printer then reinstall the printer driver again.
2. Powercycle the printer then try printing from text edit. Check ink as well
3. Connect the printer from another machine see if its working there to isolate the problem
4. reseat the cartridge as well.
5. Try other accounts just to see if its account-specific problem
