I'm running phpMyAdmin 2.6.0 off my new slackware machine (PII 350 MHz 210 RAM) and even when run locally to look at a table with 2 rows it sometimes takes up to two minutes to load a page, an occurance I might add which is not at all uncommon.
Should I be replicating slave processes to increase performance of MySQL ? I mean, it's accessing a localhost DBM via a socket so it should be more or less instantaneous
