Pioneer DVD 110 tray jams on G4 MDD

Hi,

I've purchased and installed a Pioneer 110 DVD RW into my G4 Dual Mirror.

The install went well enough ... until I booted and tried to eject the disk tray. It jams into the plastic casing ... If you open a mirrored door you'll see a curved plastic casing.

I'm wondering if I have the wrong drive? The wrong casing for the drive ... or if I'm supposed to get out some tools and carve away at the plastic that frames the inner part of the door.

The front face of the DVD tray should be detachable. It's required not to have this piece in place for the MDD G4 towers -- even the stock drives have them removed. It should simply snap off -- give a look around it and see if you can find any tabs that would release it.
