I placed a Pioneer DVR-111D into an eMac (internally).
I am getting a message in system profiler saying that no drive is not connected.
I have checked the IDE cable connections and power connections and they are ok.
The jumper is set to slave because when it was on master, the CD-rom drawer kept opening when the machine was started up.
Is there a third-party software that can help with this. I have read quite a few people able to place this drive into an eMac and it worked fine.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.
