Pioneer SuperDrive won't burn... and more!

I have a MAC G-4 PowerPC 733 mhz, w/ Seagate ATA-2 HD, mostly running OS-9.2.2 with QuickTime 6.0.3 carbon lib 1.6, Final Cut Pro 3.0.2 OS-10.2.5 Pioneer 103 SuperDrive with drive 1.4.7
In the System Profiler it does not show that I have any thing mounted when in fact I do and I can even open those files from the SuperDrive. But I can not burn anything. Suspected culprit is MPEG Streamclip from Square Five, that I loaded in an attempt to make MPeg-4 with H.264 video files. My guess is that MPEG Streamclip knocked out a Pioneer Superdrive driver. Can we fix it? And do you know of a plug-in that will make MPEG-4 with H.264 compression from FCP-3 in OS-9 or FCP4 in OS 10.3.9? As a plug-in.

Thanks,
Sid Coleman
