I have a Lombard powerbook. I haven't used it much in the two weeks. I did a clean install of 10.2.8 two weeks ago and haven't done anything since. Today while checking some things out it died. Screen black nothing. Pushing the reset button I get a PSSST sound and the little light on the hinge on the right lights then back off. Could this be the CPU 333 mhz.Just put in a new motherboard (3 1/2 hours of fun) did all the reinstalls of 9.2.2 plus OSX. If it is this would you go back to the 333 or upgrade to the 400?
