Pixelated desktop icon of images with pse 11.

I asked this question in the Adobe forums but did not get a solution. If I save an image from pse the desktop icon of this image is pixelated. See attached before and after. How can I fix this?
 
You say the file icon is pixellated - but is the image file itself still of the quality that you expect to see?
Hopefully, you will discover how to attach your images so we can see what you have.

If you drag your PSE file into a folder, does the file icon show differently there? Make sure that the View Options are set to show icon previews.
If you open that file in Quick Look, does the image appear properly? (Just click on the file to select, and press your space bar for a Quick Look view)

Yes how do you attach? Dragging into a folder does not change anything. quick look works fine.
 
Looks like you got "attach" figured out. :D
I can see the file icon is really low-res.

Maybe that's an option in PSE for saving files. I don't have PSE, so I'm just guessing on that.

If you open your image file in Preview app, then resave - does the file icon then look OK (as you expect?)
