Playing 16:9 movies in Quicktime

i've just exported a movie I've edited in Final Cut and want to watch it through in Quicktime to check for any problems. I can't seem to find a way for Quicktime to correct the pixel aspect of the 16:9 movie. It appears as a squished 4:3 image, rather than widescreen.

Looked everywhere for a checkbox or something. Is it possible? If not, is there an app that does allow you to play 16:9 MOV files correcty?

Using:
Quicktime Pro 7.0.3

Movie format:
DV PAL 48 khz Anamorphic

You can't just choose a ratio, but you can manually specify the width and height to match what you need. Select Show Movie Properties from the Window menu, select the video track in the list, and go to Visual Settings. Change the scaled size to whatever you want, and then save the mov. Then it'll open with the proper aspect ratio every time.
