Please, I need help with Bluetooth Firmware

I have an IOGEAR Bluetooth to USB adapter, 1.1 compliant, and when I installed Apple's Bluetooth 1.2.0 firmware, my Apple mouse and keyboard stopped working all together. I've never had any problems with the adapter at 6 feet away from either the mouse or keyboard, but now the adapter will only register the mouse or keyboard if I have it 6 inches from the adapter. Any further, I lose connection all together.

Does anyone know how I can downgrade back to 1.1?

The Bluetooth Firmware Upgrade is only for internal Apple bluetooth modules and revision B2 or newer D-Link USB Bluetooth modules.

I'd check with IOGEAR to see if they've got some sort of firmware flasher. Best to read the requirements before installing stuff.

Thanks for the reply. Just so that I'm clear on the issue.

Concerning a Bluetooth 1.1 compliant adapter which I've been using on a G5 Dual, am I wrong in thinking that after upgrading the firmware, I need a Bluetooth 1.2 compliant adapter, or are these 2 similar numbers (1.2) just coincidence?
