I have recently purchased a Plextor PX-708UF DVD Burner for my imac G4 the computer only has a CD/CDr drive ( no DVD capability). I have tried to install it using both the firewire and USB connections, but the computer doesn't recognize the drive. Do I need software or some kind of driver? I'm still learning the ins and outs of using a Mac again after having been away from them for awhile so I may be missing something obvoious. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
